Hello guys, gals, and pals! Welcome to An Eccentric Reader where I ramble on and analyze books because I am currently in college and have to analyze everything. I think this will be a fun way to create a community and help with my ADHD and anxiety by having something to do than just read.
This blog is going to be book reviews, manga reviews, a couple challenges I want to do before I kick the bucket that I have seen other book reviewers do, and just have fun talking about what I love. Lists will probably make an appearance every now and then because I love making lists. Maybe a few posts about things relating to reading. I don’t know, we’ll see what comes.
The challenges are as follows:
- Read Around the World – I am inspired by Courtney Henning Novak on TikTok. Definitely go check her out, I think she is on the “J” countries at the time of posting.
- 1001 Books You Must Read Before You Die – Inspired by willowbiblio on Tiktok and I went one step further and got a spreadsheet of all the books that have been in each edition. The total is 1318. I know, I know, I’m insane for even thinking about it but I’m doing it.
- Lastly is the list of 100 books from The Great American Read. Luckily quite a few overlap with the 1001/1318 challenge so two birds, one stone.
Plus! I mood read just about everything else and NRN (not right now) or DNF (did not finish) books on the regular. ADHD for the win! I do do reviews for NetGalley so that is exciting to share with all of you.
I think that’s it. I have some great ideas for posts that I will get on immediately.
